Tapehead - Live At Galleri 14k April 81 Cassette 1981

Tapehead were T.S Hoeg, Per Jacobsen, Niels Thomsen and sometimes Vagn E Olsen. They released two tapes on legendary label Gry Records. I think this is the first one. The music is elements of free improvisation, free jazz, and straight up experimental sounds. Great stuff!

Still - Trazz 12" 1985

I don't know anything about this band. This record was released on the very exciting label Replik Muzick, run by End of your garden. Aside from the Factory-induced post punk they released this record is full on weird jazz, sort of no wave with that punk energy. Great stuff!

T. S. Hawk - 90 Minutes Of Live Music Cassette 2017

T.S. Hawk played sax in Cockpit Music and lots and lots of other bands in Denmark. A couple of years ago Insula Music released this solo cassette with his compositions. Lots of skronking on sax and weird sounds. If you like it I think it's possible to buy it somewhere - please do it!

Cockpit Music - Salute For General Wasteland LP 1983

This is the third album from those loveable, crazy jazz-danes. Cockpit music was and is hard to describe. There's elements of world music, jazz (off course), punk (small traces) and good old experimentation for the heck of it. I suppose they had a very organized idea of how they wanted to sound. I had a hard time separating the tracks - so it's just side A and side B.

Klima LP 1990

A nice compilation of experimental danish band. Side A is electronic bands, with examples of ambient, EBM and weird stuff while the B side is the real deal with more jazz-oriented bands like Picnic and Cockpit Music. The band Vanviddets Husarer participates with one track from their cassette, which i would love to hear.

Lokomotiv Konkret - The Sky Is The Limit LP 1983

Lokomotiv Konkret is a long running swedish free-jazz-improv-band led by activist Dror Feiler. On this live recording the locomotive also consisted of bassplayer Sigge Krantz, Sören Runolf on guitar and Tommy Björk playing drums. Great free form skronk.

Cockpit Music - Transworld of Sounds DLP 1981

Cockpit Music were T.S. Høeg, Søren Tarding and Peter Ole Jørgensen. They were formed around 1980 and were active in the creative millieu around the punks in Copenhagen, sharing stage with bands like Sods. They released a lot of records and seems to still be around today. This is their first (double) LP. Sometimes punk, most of the time jazz, sometimes really out there.
