Gunnar was one of the major figures in the mid-1900's literary scene in Sweden. He was among the first to bring in influences from the surrealists and his first books is heralds of the whole modern age. This is a record published by the Swedish public radio consisting of the elder Ekelöf reading a selections of his poems.
