Jukon Speakers - The Crusher 7" 1985?

After the Pinheads split up some of the members continued a band that started in the early seventies under a different name. The band was renamed Jukon Speakers and started a career that still goes on. This was the bands first release, before the drummer started the label Garageland in Umeå. The A-side is a Cramps cover, i think, and the B-side is a weird spoken piece.

  1. The A-side was actually a 1964 Novas cover that the Cramps later covered. Anyway, a big thank-you for all your great posts - a lot of amazing stuff to be found here.

    1. Thanks for your input! I have very seldom listened to the Cramps anyway. I believe the B-side is a cover too but can't remember if it's true, what band did the song first or what's it called in the original rendering.

    2. Wow, if the B-side's a cover I can't identify it. The riff and spoken words remind me a little of the Bongwater version of "Why Are We Sleeping?" w/ the original by the Soft Machine.
